Eugene Olivier of Iberia Parish is a PJAL Member-At-Large. He is also the current Chairman Iberia Parish Council. Olivier has been self-employed with Eugene's Auto & Truck Service Center for 28 years. He is married to Patricia Derouen Olivier and has 5 children (Michelle, Eugene Jr., Dayna, Keith, and Kevin. They also have eight grandchildren.
Olivier is a graduate of New Iberia Senior High School (1975), Louisiana Technical College (1977) in Automotive and Industrial Engine Repair, General Motors University Service Managers Program, and is a ASE Certified Master Technician and GM Master Technician.
He is the President of the St. Nicholas Catholic Church Holy Name Society and Grand Marias Community Development. He is also the President of the Louisiana Police Jury Association Black Caucus and past President of Waterworks District No.4, former Chairman of the South Regional Pastoral Council for Diocese of Lafayette, Past Chairman of the Iberia Parish Executives, Finance, and Public Health & Safety Committees.
He is a member of the National Association of Counties serving on the Transportation Steering Committee, National Association of Black County Officials, Gulf States Counties and Parish Caucus, and the Police Jury Association of Louisiana Region 3. He is also Vice-Chairman of Louisiana Police Jury Highway Transportation Committee
