Region III Meeting

Legislative Day was a Huge Success!

Legislative Day at the Baton Rouge Hilton Capitol Center on Wednesday, May 2, was a very well attended and informative success!  Members received a legislative update from our legislative lobbying team including PJAL Assistant Director Guy Cormier.  Members present were then able to visit the Capitol to sit in on committee meetings during session and continued to network during lunch at the Hilton Capitol where Louisiana Legislators were invited to attend to further discuss parish government.  Also during the meeting, PJAL Treasurer Roy Mouch from West Baton Rouge Parish was awarded a beautiful portrait in honor of his dedicated service to parish government which began when he won his local government election in West Baton Rouge Parish in 1960.  He became PJAL Treasurer in 1985---that's over 30 years of service to our Association!
