PJAL Annual Convention

PJAL President Glenn Benton of Bossier Parish passed the gavel to incoming PJAL Preisdent Scotty Robinson of Ouachita Pairsh.   During the three-day event, Governor Jon Bel Edwards was the guest speaker for the Governor's Luncheon on Friday, February 14.  Also, Executive Board Members were sworn in during the Luncheon.

 2020 Newly Elected Officials Orientation

The 2020 Newly Elected Officials Orientation had a great turnout!  The January 16, 2020, event in Baton Rouge had members from across the state discussing topics important to local government. Region Meetings Conclude

The 2019 PJAL Region Meetings have ended with record turnout! Our members across the state participated in the election of Regional Officers and Regional Executive Board members, presentations of resolutions, and statewide discussions on topics important to local government.  The 2019 Host Parishes did a remarkable job planning and showcasing their parishes for their regional members.  We appreciate each of our host parishes: Jefferson, St. Mary, Red River, Tensas, East Feliciana, Cameron, and Concordia.  Thank you!
