Louisiana Assistance Resource Center
(LARC), www.larconline.com
The
Division of Administration’s Office of Community Development has established
The Louisiana Assistance Resource Center (LARC). The LARC is an online searchable database that contains technical
assistance and funding sources from federal and Louisiana state government, as
well as foundations throughout the country.
Louisiana Information Infrastructure
Center (LIINC), http://wwwprodapp.doa.state.la.us/infra/
The Office
of Community Development developed and maintains the Louisiana Infrastructure
Information Center (LIINC). The LIINC
is a database which provides interested parties a means of sharing information
relative to the public funding of local infrastructure projects to hundreds of
local governments. All infrastructure
applications submitted to the participating agencies are included in the
database. These records include
information regarding the applicant, amount of funding, source of funds, type
of infrastructure, and status of the application. This database is a consolidated effort if the DOA’s Office of
Community Development, the DOA’s Office of Facility Planning and Control, The
Department of Health and Hospitals, the Governor’s Office of Rural Development,
the Department of Environmental Quality, the Department of Economic
Development, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The database also aids in the decision-making process for the
participating agencies and provides users with a “one-stop shop” for
infrastructure funds.
