The 84th Annual Convention of the Police Jury Association of Louisiana will be held in Alexandria, Louisiana and will be hosted by the Rapides Parish Police Jury and the Honorable Richard Billings, President of the Police Jury Association and Police Juror of Rapides Parish.

 

Registration is open to all elected members of the Parish governing authority, as well as the appointed officials and employees of the Parish. Make plans to join us this February 21, 22 and 23rd.

Convention Registration Form Registration fees are $200.00 per delegate, $100.00 for spouse or first guest. All other attendees are $200.00 each. After Friday, January 18, 2008 , fees will increase to $25.00. All fees paid after the deadline date will be assessed at the higher rates.

Spouses’ Program

 

The Spouses’ Program will begin on Friday, February 22, 2008, at 9:00 a.m. with a walking tour of two nurseries in Forrest Hill and a scenic driving tour of several nurseries which are part of the multi-million dollar plant industry of the area.  At one stop, guests will observe a potting demonstration of bedding plants.  The plants will be available for purchase and can even be delivered to the Convention Center on Saturday morning. 

Also, guests are invited to travel back in time and visit the beautifully restored Old Lecompte High School for a sit down luncheon, musical entertainment, tour of the Historical Museum and Library and a chance to win door prizes!  Please join us for a great time!  Guests are to meet at the Riverfront Lobby.  For more information contact Jane Lambert.
